Defrosting elements

Our closed tube elements with a diameter of 8.5 mm are also frequently used for defrosting freezer cells, to prevent freezing or to keep them frost-free. The bending shape can take almost any imaginable shape, as long as the minimum bending radius is observed. We can provide the electrical connections with PVC bushings with a diameter of 8.5 mm and a height of 35 mm. However, there is a maximum surface load of 2.0 W/cm².

For higher surface loads, we have the option to equip the ends with flexible connection wires with a transition between shrink tubing and glue. The maximum surface load for this version is 4.0 W/cm².

It is possible to provide the ends with flexible connection wires with vulcanization. However, a minimum order quantity of 24 pieces applies and there is a delivery time of at least 6 working weeks. This version is vulcanized as standard and has a diameter of 8.5 mm and a length of approximately 44 mm.

The standard defrost elements with a diameter of 14 mm (image 4) and angled connection are also available. There are standard versions in power for three different connection voltages, namely 230 Volt, 400 Volt 2-phase and 440 Volt 2-phase. The 3-core connection cable has a standard length of 1000 mm.
